Should be the best amongst the current trial reads if you exclude the world tree. Unique premise and decent world background and characters. Only flaw is fairly extreme plot armor and insane luck in unimaginable areas.

i dont know if i want to read this book. 13 chapters in and you get to basic premise of the novel. basically he is trapped on a stone pillar by unknown entity. if he wants to live he will need to gather 1000 points while "acting" in movies. so i guess it will be something similar to terror infinity? cause of rather long intro i suspect that this will have lots of wordpadding, so i will not continue reading this.

I actually find this novel very enjoyable, I don't get why it gets so much hate, at least the idea is original enough unlike most of the copy-paste novels around here. Unfortunatelly I don't think it will get selected this way... The novel is about a man who was kidnapped and is forced to live on a pillar at 1000 m altitude with just his bed. He must resist hunger, thrist, the changeable and extreme weather conditions and more. I really liked these parts, they are realistic. One day he seems like someone came to save him and brought him to an island, but there some creepy secrets await him... and not to spoil too much, he is forced to be an actor in different movies, and starts from the bottom asa an extra as all the newbies (yes, there are others like him). He must obey the orders of the director during these movies like anybody else and must not die during the filming. He can't oppose the director's will also or give up on the movie or the penalty is.. well, you'll see what the penalty is. The only downside is that the MC has some enemies from his past that seek revenge and they always target him during the filming so that he will be the one who dies and needs to bear the penalty. But of course he is the MC and is lucky (but also very clever) and finds way to turn around the situation. That's why I find this enjoyable, the premise is somewhat unique, the MC is clever and likeable for me, it is also similar to the Terror Infinity genre only that the movie scenes are original, even if it was hinted that some movies to come can be something like Avengers. Also, at the end of each filming, he must return to the top of the pillar, so he must endure all the pain again.. only that there is a way to make things better, you'll see. Man, I really hope this can be picked up but I won't get my hopes up.

This is surprisingly interesting, the first chapters are realistic and you can feel the anguish and suffering that the protagonist goes through. A very interesting novel, which looks like Terror Infinity. Read

Be careful with this novel because at some point, it goes from a survival genre with puzzle (MC is underdog which must find a solution) to a brainless overpower self satisfaction harem genre to satisfy a male audience. The psychology of the characters are similar to 15 yo teenagers even if in theory the MC is 25 and the characters suffer from the stereotypic view of the female genre from China (girls are follower, frightened by everything and wait only that a big guy protects them). Moreover, the writer does not have a clear view where he goes. However some good points : the rythme of the novel is well handed; except for some part, you won’t be bored when the MC is in big trouble. Some cultural reference are funny to recognize.
