So far this novel is excellent. The action in it is heartfelt and tense, and the comedy is unique and refreshing. The only thing that's not top notch is the face slapping is a little forced, but other than that it is a truly refreshing and excellent novel.

It will definitely have action, but more of the early portion is spent on world building and the like. But what action is there, is quite good, and the authors other work, Forty Millennium of cultivation has excellent action.
