There is no way the fake can actually win against the original since he would never get the power ups that Naruto got. Doffy's personality would turn away Kurama instantly and the Sage himself. No one would train him in sage mode either. Doffy is literal fodder to naruto so his own powers aren't anything special either so i guess in this story doffy somehow managed to get powerups and etc just because. This is a fact unless Doffy somehow became a better person in this story. Like in those Self insert stories the guy becomes stronger than the main characters just because even though it makes no sense according to the setting.
