I believe I have been quite candid while writing this review. From what I’ve read, I have come to believe that you are the kind of mature, passionate writer that understands constructive criticism and will not be dissuaded by some honest feedback. I focused on what - in my best opinion - has the most need or potential for improvement, (in the hope to help you progress rather than simply sing you praise) certainly since I believe most could be resolved by finding a proper editor. I am convinced you have a clear idea and course of what you want to write, and how you want your story to go, but, personally, I find it very difficult to become immersed in the story and become engaged with the characters. This is, I believe, due to one main aspect: the structure of your sentences is quite poor. There is an absence of proper punctuation marks, misuse of vocabulary, and a lack of proper rhythm. Due to this, it becomes very tiresome for your reader to stay engaged; it is still possible to understand what you mean to write, but it does not inspire interest. I do, however, clearly recognise the work you put into this story, and hope I did not discourage or insult you by being so frank. Therefore, here are some of the aspects I did enjoy: Firstly the characters. They are charming and winsome, and while I often silently berated them for their naiveté, I must confess that it often added to their charm. The pacing of the story is properly done, and while the dialogue seems often a bit forced or stiff, it flows enough to be appealing to your reader. Overall, I find that your story has the potential to be more than it is now. And I know you will polish it into the gem it might be. I wish you all the best and a lot of fun writing your story.
