Reading the first chapter, the MC is quite funny. What makes it unique is that the story is magical realism but the author put a tinch of comedy which is good and doesnt make the reader go bore. Keep writing :)

I love how the concept is. The Cat and mouse chase! It really brings back the Ocean's- eleven vibe but at the same time it has a unique take on it.
