the author sucks at math btw ...

The math is perfectly throughout the piece, though there are frequent errors regarding bounty amounts. This is likely an error in translation where the translator misread the original number due to the difference in number systems between cultures/languages. They can be easily ignored or automatically processed to their true amounts with just a little bit of thinking and knowledge of the One Piece bounty system.
