I really like this book. I actually wish the author had more works to read while waiting for updates. The style is easy to read but not to simplistic. The characters are flawed in ways that humanize them. There is a fair amount of 'bad' language however, though I personally swear way too much myself so I actually appreciate it and I feel that sometimes adding 'swear' words adds realism to characters or conversations.

Thank you for the review, and sorry for replying so late. Been meaning to do this much earlier, but I kept getting distracted. I haven't given up on this work, just been busy with uni assignments, and will do my best to update Vitality soon. I actually do have another book in the works. It's called Forester, and it's set in the same universe after the (planned) plot of Vitality is over. Additionally, thank you so much for all your support. It's what keeps burnt-out writers like me motivated :) ~AD
