andy0921:I usually never write reviews or comment on them but for this comment I have to. OK so first I think with a brain can see that this is an alternative history with the main character and author being polish and with the character being a transmigrated soul form the future. What did you expect??? did you expect him to not change historic events in favor of Poland?? Why are you even reading an alt history novel then you can just go and read history books. And even then the author has multiple times spoken about how the nobility of the commonwealth are corrupt and how they give their allegiances to different sides from some families siding with the Austrians some with the French and some with the English and correct if I am wrong but stated that the commonwealth system will crumble just like in history if nothing changes and let's not even talk about how he insults the current king at every opportunity he can get. And have you even read in translated chines novel just last week I read one which has a girl who reincarnated from modern to middle ages china and stated how different life was living under the rules of ancient nobility fearing for your life everyday while where she came from everybody lived equally under the red flag .... yea and you say this novel is nationalistic. Secondly he never insulted the people of Germany or the swedes. He insulted there leaders for there incompetence. And if you mention the massacres that author wrote how he killed entire cities women and children included that was war during that time as cruel as it is especially considering the war that was fought during that time between the protestants and the Catholics and the frequent massacres that happened. After all 4.5 to 8 MILLIONS people died during the 30 years wars most if not all of them civilians. And finally him insulting the catholic church please grow up the church during that time and until now is very very corrupt and that is what he criticized. Not the faith of the people. So please next time just don't write a review. cause you're review wasn't even a good review or a good critique it was just useless.

andy0921:ok, I didn't even think about that while writing my comment. So yea I meant mostly the catholic church since I'm not really familiar with the other churches however my cynicism tells me they can't be that much better but idk. btw how do you not know which church or subcategories (I don't know the exact term so I used both) you belong to? if you're from a religious family, then you can find it easily by seeing in which church your parents were married in. and if not you can always just choose the one that is closest to you or the one which ideals you like more, your choice.

ThanatosGreekGod:to me it seems like the churches are not very corrupt if at all but then again it is entirely possible i just never noticed On the sub category part is confusing because some subcategories believe in the virgin marry some dont some refer to god as the holy spirit and some worship jesus and some dont so my family is in a weird state where we believe the holy spirit=god and god=god like a translation and marry we know was important but dont worship her we worship both god and jesus so its too confusing to look through 30 subcategories to find whatever we are so we just stick with the broad term we are christian although we go to baptist churches when we do go because thats where my mom went as a kid so we stuck with that If we were forced to choose it would be baptist but we just say we are christian no need to be so divided in our religion with so many subcategories 🤷‍♂️ I hope this makes sense cause when I re-read it i got a tiny bit confused
