Here is my honest opinion, hoping that the author does not take offense as I'm being sincere when I write this. This story has potential, but I think it needs to be shelved for a bit until she has an exact idea as to what story she wants to tell and how.
Why do I say this - for several reasons (i) the synopsis reads good but the content does not match it per se as it has a fair amount of realism in it especially for a fantasy romance which can be controversial to some (ii) throughout reading the chapters there has only been 1 commenter on said chapters- me, browsing shows that there are no one talking that in a way indicates that readers are not affected by what they read, this story has been out for 4 months now and no comments on chapters read? Mmmmh- clear sign (iii) the chapters are too detailed and unnecessarily long was putting said reader to sleep. Its also costly if in the future this story ever gets picked on avg cost per chapter over 20 SS, readers are not willing to spend that esp. for romance (iv) the story progress feels slow, though I'm sure of some progress but for the most part its about the MC and no one else (v) if the story has a not enough ratings statement it means something (vi) though as earlier stated it has potential the story in essence for some parts became boring (vii) this story needs some life and energy to it - I as a reader am not feeling that (viii) the story does not feel like fun - check out Honey, the Empire's Treasure and you will understand. This reader has read over 1000 stories in her lifetime of which the majority has been romance so I'm not talking as a naive reader here. What I did like is that the MC knows how to take care of herself well.
I applaud the author's effort in telling her story. However, if she wants to get a more favorable response, comments and traction, I think the story on a whole needs to be temporarily shelved and rewritten. Especially when it has been out since July with no real takers. Worse when there is no request/demand for mass release by the reader/s.
As for the other reviewers, this is my comment to you if you like the story so much, be respectfully honest to the author and comment on the chapter that you have read or am reading. Don't just give out full marks yet not say anything about what you felt about the chapter you have read even a "thanks for the chapter" is fine. Its not fair to the author as she needs our encouragement and guidance in telling her story in making it a better one for all of us. She is learning, so let her do so by being sincere and real to her. Don't just give full marks and yet not support the story by not saying your thoughts on a paragraph or chapter you are/have read. Frankly, I don't think this story can stay in my library for long for the reasons mentioned. Please take care of yourself and continue to write as long as you love it. Other - check out My Ultimate ambition and Power up Artist Yang - both are originals and still free. Ultimate ambition sadly does not have much commenters, however her story is good, its more fulsome, and its free I'm loyal to it. Author has it tough as well. Power up artist Yang has transmigration with a touch of realism in terms of the personalities of the characters which I believe you are trying to do - its also free. Those can help. Also try out Sorohana's novels - Flowers Bloom in the Battlefield is a complete story from start to finish, she has others but I like this one a lot. Especially her portrayal of strong female characters with an equally balanced male counterpart. For fun and laughter with some madness- its Honey, the empire's treasure. You will understand once you have checked those out.
