The Author here! I will make it clear for anyone who expects anything! First no harem. I have not even thought which character to use as a love interest. If I really decide to do it, it will be Bi Ji, the Emerald Swan. And the plot might feel fast for the first 20 chaps but it will be reasonable as he is a spirit beast and there will be a lot of time skips...for the first 20 chaps or so he will be getting power. He will try and be a strong spirit beast. I plan to make him involved in plot events of DD1 which is only like 50 years away from the main plotline so that's why I am making him reasonably strong. I also try to make my writing better though English is not my first language, I promise you won't feel uncomfortable reading it. There may only be mistakes regarding commas or there maybe more but hey I am not perfect. I will try and add much humour as possible to make it enjoyable for you. So let's make the comment box and reviews as peaceful as possible. I hope if you have complaints regarding the novel, I hope you comment it here. And about his goal...well he is an old grandpa you can't expect him to think something like world domination like other people. As long as his family his happy, he will be happy too. Author, cant mc be pair with guyuena? Just gonna say your bebeing pretty unfair to wulin when Gu yue nearly died to a martial fusion technique he ddidnt he hesitate to protect her event he would die and not see his parents again. As for him stabbing her Gu yue planned that since she made him think she would kill everyone he cared about while he was letting her kill him which messed up his thinking ledding to him trying to protect his friends. Lastly when committing suicide he did it becauseblike he said Gu yue didnt have anyone who love her so he decided to be with him even it meant giving up everyone else he cared about and cared for him in his life. While with Xuanyu he wasnt as close with him as Nana and couldnt justify spending his time guarding him since he both had a job and didnt know he was his son. Theres a reason the minute he figured things out by breaking tge seal he have up everything in order to guard nana and protect xuanyu.

The reason he did that because he want to compensate for guyuena and xuanyu, second he was already a father and third I never said wulin didnt love guyuena but I just said he cant live up to what he said to her.
