MC and Nie Lie has a different goal from the start. And MC doesn't need to be the one standing out to reach his goal. ( thats what I thought ). I have so much aberration with the TDG Fanfics, I can't stand it in the original novel I can't stand Nie Li it's like any boring Gary stu in the end is a 300 year old fart who learned nothing in his first life, everyone sacrificed for him and with a stroke of luck he revived the first thing he did was draw unnecessary attention to despise his teacher for not knowing anything outside the city glory and some things about geniuses etc, he flirted with a 13-year-old girl being 300 years old, he took advantage of a girl who has no experience in flirting, I no longer like that, nothing happens that is the love of your life but friend is 13 years old now, how come you don't take advantage of it, I don't know how some like it. you know i can't understand people that find nie li deplorable for going after ye ziyun. What was he supposed to do? Completely swear of love because he would always be mentally older than his partner? I mean he could go after yu yan. But than i will also expect you to scream bloody murder about the fact that she ist thousands of years older than nie li.
