Review Detail of ElizaA in BEWITCH MY HEART: The Naughty Bride

I'm on the fence about this novel right now, but it has great potential. 25 chapters in. PROS 1. FL is strong and independent and has characteristics of "reborn FL" without actually being dumb and reincarnated. 2. She's multi talented. Can be classy rich lady, skilled doctor, military captain. Definitely going to see interesting scenarios. 3. ML is in love with her, but we don't know their history yet. He's also powerful in his field and shows signs of being doting hubby (not scummy rapey CEO) CONS 1. FL has her guards UP and this translates to her being an ass to subordinates and ML. She uses people without feeling guilt. I get that it adds to her "strong independent woman" vibe but it's hard to respect and love her. 2. I already see that it's gonna take way too long for ML to get FL to love him. She's a total ice cube. I'm a sucker for sweet romances, not too fond of long chases. 3 (?) FL's entire family is against her at this point. Biological mom who got kicked out of family is ACTUALLY a greedy ass (wow that's new, they're usually framed). The aunts and cousins want to kick her out and play all sorts of tricks. (Con because it's cliche, but if you enjoy then can be a pro) ___ Anyways, if you're into strong characters who just pummel enemies, this is for you! If you like MLxFL cooperation to take down enemies, maybe not. There's not much "rooting" going on. Like when the FL faces injustice and you just wait for the faceslaps. Here, the faceslaps happen before you feel the irritation. Anyways, this is just after 25 chapters. Maybe I'll change my mind later!
