The story is decent but the Mc is just stupid. He goes full xianxia or chinese mode. You can enjoy the story if you ignore the occasional chinese outbursts of mc. Good luck

He has a point, it's hard to find a chinese ln MC that is not hyper vengeful to the point of obsession and what we would see as an extremist in modern society. Take it up with the authors, not the reviewers

He's not comparing him to Chinese people. It's just that Chinese tend to have characters that have irrational outbursts and arrogant young master syndrome. Of course, this is not the case with all Chinese novels.

Japanese MCs are still better than Chinese ones. Yes Japanese MCs tend to be the same a lot but a lot of them feel different too while 99% of chinese MCs are either vengeful and stupid or vengeful and "smart"
