I personally do not like reverse harems or harem fanfics, most women in anime are not fleshed out properly and are usually weaker than the males. Most of the harems on this site are unrealistic. Most of the characters they have in the harem would never share a man, based on their personalities. No matter how you put it, making people like Yoruichi, Rukia, Tsunade, Bulma and more share a single male is unrealistic. It completely warps them. Most harems are not thought out and are just 'MC sees big-boobed girl. MC spends a chapter romancing girl. Girl loves MC with her whole heart and agrees to share him with 100 other women.' Harems are popular in places around the world but not as much in modern days.

Also, most harem stories, imo atleast, are pathetic. It just creates a useless fantasy which the author will most likely expect from reality which could potentially lead them to cheating. Not necessarily true but it is a possibility.
