Imagine that you lived a painfully average life and died by a stupid, stupid accident, but a goddess interfered, giving you a second chance in another world.
There, you became royalty—the lazy kind with almost no obligations, free to live in peace and luxury for the rest of your days.

Because I became *BEE* royalty—a Drone Bee! (A humanoid bee, thankfully, but still a bee in all things that matter.)
The only way to increase my lifespan is to develop and grow my bee colony—a hard task in this huge and dangerous world. There are hungry beasts the size of skyscrapers at every turn, other insect colonies—each more murderous than the other—other civilizations, and natural disasters to top it all off.
But as long as I have my brains, my bees and all the gene upgrades my system gives me, my Bee Empire will be unstoppable!
