it depends on the author, what ruins novels for me is when the author makes other girls fall for him then because he wants to keep one girl he breaks their hearts

I like harem if there's actual development of each of the female characters. not just seeing a girl and bang! they have fallen for each other. if you have read this book reaper of the martial world, the author actually made the harem work. I'm not saying you should cheat on your partner! this is a book not real life, I love reading books just to fulfill my fantasies but irl I will never do such a thing even if my babe allows such a thing unless she's bisexual and we agree to have another girl which is nigh impossible

true, maybe I'm getting way too fixated on harem, I think it's because most Chinese novels with their length and repetitive cliche scenes u start only looking forward to when the MC gets a new girl.

Just want to let you know I have enjoyed your book so far, I am currently at chapter 30. However you tend to go back and forth with the use of present tense and past tense. It makes the story a little hard and jarring to read. I suggest sticking to one or the other, with past tense being the better choice when it comes to story writing in my opinion. I do hope it gets better as the book continues on, so I can leave a good review.
