Obligatory author review. I try to be not too cliche, but I’m gonna inevitably have some. As for why I picked Xie Xie as the main character: I honestly like him as a character later on, and I think his friendship with Wulin was cool. I thought it would be nice for them to have a kinda Gon and Killua dynamic. I also like Yuanen Yehui as a love interest. Obviously, it won’t go the same as canon because I liked their relationship but not how they got into the relationship. And finally, while I did like Xie Xie’s character as a whole, there are some aspects to him I didn’t like, and I think he had way more potential than what was shown in the story. Imo they did him dirty just because he wasn’t the main character. From this point on: slight spoilers for like chapter 1 As for Xie Xie’s cheat, it’s basically a library with some anime martial arts and weapon styles. I don’t think it’s honestly that op, mostly because pure skill and technique really can’t help you when some dude one shots you because he has a dragon arm. If he’s fighting someone who’s just honestly way more powerful than him, he’ll just straight up lose. Another reason why it’s not too broken is because of his body can’t use it, then it won’t work. As an example: if he gets the Eight Gates technique, hows he gonna use it cause he has no chakra neither the Eight Gates in his body. The only foreign power system I’m introducing is Haki because 1: it’s not too broken and 2: I just love it. On top of that, I actually have an explanation on why he can use it. Also, this story will be a bit Slice-of-Lifey because I want to develop my characters more and help emphasize how they’re different from canon. On top of that, the MC won’t have any foreknowledge on Soul Land at all, so he won’t try to keep canon the same. Anyways, what I’m trying to say is that if you want a harem and op-mc who never loses, you should probably leave.

Besides the gay bromance, everything seems fine. (Honestly i hate to read bromance in animes ok, but in ffs hell nah. So im not gonna read this, but i wish you good luck with this fanfic.

I know, i was just exaggerating🤣 I meant the bromance killua and gon had. Tbh if they were gay, i would not even be shocked one bit. Im just not a big fan of bromance in ffs. In anime it's way better in my opinion. (I did not read the ff so i don't know how the bromance is but when you say it's killua gon lvl, it's a little bit of a turn of. I found there reliationship in the anime good, but reading in a ff is a little iffy if you know what i mean. But what i like is what zorro did for luffy, it's not real bromance but it was a real god lvl move. But still good luck, btw i think you should not have wrote about the bromance part in the sypnosis. Because it's for many a turn of, but when reading it may be not so bad as it seem. So this information was not really "wise" when you get what i am saying. Anyway Good Luck with your fanfic.👍👋)
