i really enjoyed the CAS until that scene at the end where the author tried to milk the tragedy story of itachi in his battle during a tournament. he made a clone and transformed it into sasuke to fight him and re-inact that anime fight. it was just terrible.

Really? That was the part I liked the most. The rest was just generic harem and system stuff. I just liked the reaction people had.

i can agree that itachi's story can be looked at from multiple different views but i just felt like that scene was a huge insult to itachi. a man who did everything to live in the shadows and hide his true intentions was being portrayed in a public event with insane amounts of angst. i get that it was fanfiction but as an Itachi fan, that scene really felt like being slapped in the face, it was an insult to Itachi's character. *Just my opinion, i'm sure many others loved the scene.

That was indeed not how Itachi would have acted. To be honest few fanfic authors manage to make the characters feel like they are the real thing. The only one I remember that more or less did that to some degree is Bleached Multiverse and the other novel by the same author.

Indeed. The original badass system didnt have Itachi as the MC. It had an OC wearing the skin of Itachi and acting VERY different. So far, in this new fic, the author has stuck close to Itachi's character within reason. bleached multiverse was a fun fic. it started off by gathering AU versions of characters we all know and then had them all gather as a group to have fun and cause chaos. I really enjoyed the fun for that one.
