Review Detail of EllaBells in Soul Shard Captor [BL] [QT]

I've read the comments saying that "it gets better/easier to read later on" but it's exactly the starting chapters I unfortunately can't get over. The tone flip-flops like crazy, the emojis/kaomoji are overwhelming and random and contributes to absolutely nothing, the first few chapters are vague and I just couldn't take it in. Basically it reads like how whiplash feels. The premises sounds good and the update consistency is admirable but the execution leaves a lot to be desired. Maybe one day the author will edit the beginning chapters and I'll come back to give it another try but right now? No thanks.
