Review Detail of rosiefox in I just want to run away! (BL)

I wasnt totally sure how I would like this novel starting out, but I’ve been really enjoying the characters and story world so far. It is a slow-burn novel, but that is definitely a necessity to do the characters justice. The amount of character development is really satisfying and well paced too. I’m genuinely enjoying the interactions between the MC and ML as they learn how to communicate with each other. I can’t wait to see where this story will go next! As a side note: the writing is well done and not at all difficult to read. I have total appreciation for the writers who post in English even though it’s their second language, and I give them a lot of grace with the grammer/typos. However, it is sometimes refreshing to to find a novel with a nice fluent flow to it like this one. I highly recommend this novel to anyone who enjoys a more feudal asian style story with a spice of magicy/supernatural stuff. Be forewarned though, is a fairly dark novel with lot of explicit gore and psychotic elements. If that unsettles you, you might want to read something else.
