Creed is quite uptight if he's not with his family, so Jake is the perfect person to help him ease his stress. I adore their friendship. ^^ I appreciate the extensive detailing of the setting in Chapter 3. It fits to my preference. However, it might be considered as an information dump. The whole chapter was basically just an explanation. After putting all of the information in that chapter, the readers might forget the specificities as they go along the story. The pacing of your story is pretty fine, though there are some parts where I feel was skipped. You have a lot of terms that the readers might be unfamiliar with. You can use your author's notes to explain some of them (i.e. fermi paradox, nuclear refinement, etc.) for some added facts. There are some grammatical mistakes such as incomplete sentences, misuse/absence/overuse of punctuations marks, leading to run-ons/comma splices, incorrect verb tenses, etc. Withal, bear in mind that they do not affect your plot or whatsoever. We can perfectly understand what you're writing. I just pointed them out to show you that your work could look even more beautiful than how it is. Overall, I liked this story. I think that the treaty of cosmic stability was created by the Deities because they were afraid of the Human's constant and fast evolution. Rest assured that you're a good author.
