Hello, this is the author. As mentioned in the synopsis, the story is written to participate in WPC, with 'single parent' as the theme. In the beginning, the story will focus more on the MC's, Neil, and Edith's life as they looked over Hazel who had just lost her parents. The romance is slow-paced, and things will get fluffier (I hope) as the MCs' relationship grow. The story will focus on Edith and Neil as the main couple. Hazel and Alex's story will start later on. If you noticed, you can see that I have tagged this as crime and conspiracy as well as there will be elements of that as we go further. Just don't get tricked by the cute covers XD

This was a lovely story of two couples: the first, a kindergarten teacher who helps an ice-block CEO learn to raise his recently orphaned niece. Within the cute moments, there is a touch of a thriller with a web of despicable crimes linking the lives of these characters. For the second couple, we now see the little niece grown up and starting her love story with her childhood best friend. It was well-written and thoroughly enjoyable. The characters were likeable and easy to invest in. There was some small grammar errors but these did not detract from the story. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys generational love stories with a bIt of suspense.

This was such a fulfilling story to read.................................the main leads had such good compatibility and I liked how they talked to each other and there were no misunderstandings between them..............................and the side story of Hazel and Alex was literally Cherry on top
