Took my time reading it, and glad I did. This novel is a rollercoaster. Some parts feel more dull than others, but they made the wait for the awesome parts that much more appreciable. It feels realistic, as though I'm really reading about the MC's life. It's a bitter mix between the MC's diary versus present tense. The MC explains how he feels, why he decides to do what he does, mostly all in inner monologue. If you don't want to read monologue, you won't enjoy this read whatsoever. The MC also does not describe his past life until later, and it all makes sense when he does. The MC has a love/hateable personality. He can be pretty daft at times, but you can tell that he's trying his best. He can be funny, resourceful, cautious, and even cowardly. He starts off weak, but he manages with the help of his friends met along the way. Being powerful is not actually his purpose though, which is refreshing. He has a strong sense of morals, which makes you wonder about the antagonist tag, until someone challenges his morals. He can be pretty brutal. He does a ton of different things, many of which are for his own amusement or even just doing stuff for other people's sake. Combining everything that he does makes for a cute, sometimes dark, slice of life/ruler/adventure isekai which I happened to enjoy. The first volume seemed short compared to the second, but the third seems like it might even be longer than the second. It seems like the author is putting more effort into each chapter, which is nice if you enjoy the story. If you get that far into it, you probably are. I know that I'm enjoying the newer chapters because more things seem to be happening. The novel is pretty well written too, which definitely helps considering all of the monologue. Good read, thank you for your time and dedication with continuing to post frequently!
