I read the synopsis and thought it would be an interesting story but the first chapter wasn't really a hook for me. There wasn't a compelling reason for MC to choose to be a Halloween cat, yet somehow we're supposed to go along with it.

I'm sorry that you did not enjoy the prologue. I'll explain why it is that way, but if you didn't enjoy it, then that's just too bad. ^~^ The story takes place solely from the MC's perspective after death, but he doesn't just conveniently recall his entire life and have a massive inner monologue after initially waking up to find that he is in strange circumstances~
