Well, to be honest, I dislike harems too since they are 99% fantasies of the author, making his protagonist some badass womanizer. Most of the time all the girls that join are also quite predictable by the amount of physical description of their feminine assets. That being said, I stumbled upon a few good ones. The Spider, for example, a Marvel/Spiderman fanfiction. But most are trashy and influence the story negatively.
