About golden hair, we would probably see glimpses of that person at volume 2. She is really important in the plot, and I have already thought of several events with her. About harem... A lot of people differ in opinion, but personally, I'm not really a fan of harem, but I like stories with at least 2 female lead, so readers should probably expect 2. About unexpected turns, I'm always cautious about avoiding writing about things that would turn off people, but I always want to have surprises, would just have to tread the balance carefully.
