Review Detail of DearCompanion in The Way of The Dao

Mmm, seeing that you only read the first volume I wrote on a whim and maybe just about 10 chapters where the main story officially begins, I think you have some mistakes and misunderstandings. Yes, the MC becomes weak and if it is strong from the beginning, without anyone being his rival during the whole novel, I think the story would be like "slices of life". His sealed cultivation is there for a good reason, which obviously will not be discovered at first, otherwise nothing would make sense knowing everything from the beginning, as well as why he is in that tiny world. (If you read the first volume well, you might get an idea of why the Heavenly Law placed a seal on him...) As the chapters go by, the why of the "Heavenly Seal" and other things will be known. The MC is weak for only a few chapters and, if you would give yourself a chance with more chapters ahead, you will realize that the MC is still OP for some factors, being much stronger than those that would be "officially" at the same level. He never gets "weaker and weaker" over time... and obviously, the Heavenly Seal will not be removed by any "author's nonsense". :) I don't want to rush things, because I want to make a good and enjoyable novel that everyone can enjoy. Otherwise, I could make a 100-200 chapter novel and that's it ;) . And knowing that the MC has only spent the MOST part of his life fighting to ascend to the higher realms and become stronger in order to protect his family, he might not be very wise, unlike the characters who are born with a golden spoon or get the legendary heavenly wisdom. And, therefore, his mentality may be somewhat young yet and somewhat stupid, as he did not enjoy his "youth" much while being chased by many people throughout his life. Maybe during the first and second arcs it could feel like "slices of life", since I want to explain his past, as well as the things he gets and so on, as well as bring out some of his potential so that later there are no inconsistencies or everyone wondering where he got such power (as power ups I think) and so on. Honestly, this is my first novel, so there could be many (too many) mistakes, cliché scenes, stupid reasons, idiotic thoughts and more D: I think this is not your kind of novel, but don't worry, I hope you find novels that you like ;) And thanks for leaving me a bad-medium score! (LOL >.< ;) ) P.S.: Does it really look like the ATG novel? I know that novel a little bit but I never read it :o

but still, your novel is better than 90% of ch*n*** cultivation novels out there currently circulating in the english web.

i read a title in one of your chapters "begin the plan to weaken zhang family" lol, in the beginning, he can kill a whole realm above the city's cultivation level monster easily (foundation establishment). now he need to do a thousand little things to 'weaken' a no-name clan lol lol lol and you have the nerve to say that mc isn't becoming weaker as time pass by, if that's the case, how's it that the above event happens lol.

Then comes the cliche, oh she's so beautiful and has a little brother, i'll help her brother becomes stronger thing lol lol lol.

Haha, well, the MC helps the pair of siblings because they took care of him until he recovered... should the MC be ungrateful and not want to help them? (leaving aside those evil MCs of course) And somehow I wanted to connect him in such a way with one of the girls in the harem. (I'm one of those few people who like some clichés even though they are repeated in several novels, obviously with a limit). But obviously I won't fill the novel with cliché scenes, and I will try to innovate and create better scenes >.< Besides, the MC lives with them and still spends some time for him to help the girl's brother.

HAHAHA! Do you see that you only assume and take for granted that you know what would happen later just by reading the title? xD If you really read the novel, you will know that that chapter is NOT the MC who wants to weaken the Zhang family but another family. One of his girls is from that family, so how could he weaken his girl's family, well, although there are some novels where the enemy becomes a lover and still the family of the former enemy is destroyed. They are some families that are plotting and conspiring against other families in the same city, wanting to take control (that's a cliché now that I remember haha). And of course, the MC could destroy any of those families if he wanted to, even the city itself if he wanted to, but right now, he just enjoys and doesn't meddle in those matters until they piss him off, since he wanted to go unnoticed and not be bothered by anyone while he recovers and tries to find a way back to his world. ;)

Then MC made an oath to be sworn brothers with some stupid mortal. Lol, guess that mc will raise their cultivation to immortal and give them his (to be) women to them

there's even a title in this novel "helping bro xxx advanced in his relationship with beautiful fairy xxx" lol, the ultimate **** mc 😅

the problem with the story is that you showed how strong the mc by unsealing his cultivation then immediately seals it again lol.. it will leave a bitter taste to some of the readers if you "weakened" or nerfed the mc. you shouldve just started with the mc's cultivation being sealed. so there is no weakening that is happening. and the only way for the mc is up/stronger which would be good imo..

Well, I planned to demonstrate at first what would happen to the MC when the Seal is unlocked and the consequences, so that you would have an idea of what would happen. But I didn't weaken the MC until now either (it was only at the beginning when he was sealed completely and left without strength) the MC is still strong because of several circumstances and factors that he has, and of course he will be even stronger xD. Although, yes, it would leave a bad taste about resealing his strength, but don't you think it would have to start this way to mark the beginning? I mean, if the MC quickly knew about his seal on how to destroy it and so, the plot would end absurdly fast, just by breaking the space and returning to the Immortal World easily, as if nothing had happened. But well, I'll try to improvise and do the best I can with the plot, haha ;)

I just want to know that if he will love his harem and would they go with him on adventure?
