Review Detail of Venerable_Linfeng in The Lone Girl

All right, your fellow writer here! This is the second review and serious review. Here are the reasons why I gave this book 3 stars: 1. Writing Quality: Everything in here is indeed readable and understandable, but it is not in the right way. Since you use 3rd person narration as your writing style, make sure that everything is in the past tense. It’s true that everything is readable, but some readers still prefer or pursue the perfect writing style where grammars are fit to read instead. If you have time, be sure to edit them seriously. Punctuation, glaringly wrong grammar, typos, unusual phrase, etc,. 2. Updating Stability: In this period of time, the schedule is 0ch/week, but I gave 3 stars hoping the author will be able to change it and make it stable in the future. 3. Story Development: The pacing is not stable at all! Don’t move from one scene to another too quickly or too slowly. If things have to be skipped, be sure to express it down, don’t write a random and unnecessary scene. Don’t end a scene unclearly. Don’t add info dump.(eg. don’t introduce unnecessary characters) But note that info dump is still necessary, just don’t add too much in one chapter. 4. Character Design: If you have your own unique protagonist, that would be the best. I’ve seen too much typical protagonists nowadays now. Also, introduce your MC a bit more clearly, because it’s hard to distinguish who is your MC if one only reads roughly instead of thoroughly. I gave 2 stars because I saw quite a bunch of typical characters in here. 5. World Background: If your story is Western-Fantasy based, don’t mix in the “Sensei” or similar Japanese stuff, only use the Westerners’ words. I gave 3 stars because it’s a fantasy world, a world where it’s big enough that anything can happen and exist.
