the plot was good. but clearly the author writes to fill the daily word count ( i.e money) not for the quality the story doesn't even progress for hundreds of chapters. focusing on things that holds no relevance to the core story. really disappointing the author tries to focus so much in the explanation of cultivation that it becomes annoying at times. the cultivation levels are messy and all over the places

LIKEDon’ firget the random changes of pov that we don’t need🙄 Like this novel is gooood but f*ck, what is with wasting so many chapters on random stuff that don’t really push the story forward. This is going to get longer than MGA with 20% action 80% filler
Simone007:Too much thought maybe, we are getting chapters and chapters of boring explanations of techniques that will probably only be used 1 or 2 times
The cultivation system of Paragon of Sin is one of the most well defined system I have ever seen. The other xianxias have the mc go through stage 1 to stage 9 and nothing changes except he can defeat stronger people. Here each stage actually means something and you have to work on diffrent aspects to ascend to the next stage of a realm. If you read the chapters 1/day you might feel fraustated sometimes because of the cliffs but the author is building a fantastic world which doesnt always cater to the mc and is not 2 dimensional. The people continue even without the mc and events happen, enemies dont appear suddenly only to be defeated by the mc in the last second. That said the mc is the greatest reason to read the novel. He is one of the few people who can fight above his stage but there is a reason for why, and he doesnt get sneered by others every 10chapters for his low cultivation, instead he uses his alchemic talent to the utmost and makes his own force/ subordinates.
Well yes, but actually no. There's so much word padding in the last two volumes, that I went from skipping paragraphs to skipping chapters in bulk, and I'm not the type to do either of those usually. I agree on the cultivation system though; it's most excellent. But that's hardly the problem. Even binge reading is a chore most of the time. Reading a chapter a day is just asking to be tormented.

Absolute_Winter:I disagree. The cultivation system is the reason why I haven’t dropped the novel. it’s very detailed and you can tell the author put a lot of thought into it.
