Two chapters in and I'm already hesitant to continue reading the novel. This is for one main reason, which is the main character's 'desire' to grow stronger; wanting to go home. Why does this desire make me want to drop a novel, especially a novel finally set on Middle Earth with some WoW aspects? Because it's a terrible motivation to have for an isekai novel and makes me have my own 'expectations' on what will happen. Take the novel I read before called 'I am Krillin!" The main character there has, throughout the novel, developed his own kind of kingdom, become one of the strongest if not the strongest in the universe, has a harem, has a respected status, has friends, and has lived for a few hundred thousand years so he probably has kids and grandkids and descendants. All of this he grew and developed with his own hands. Then, at the end, God suddenly breaks the universe, pats Krillin on the head for doing a good job, then throws him back to his original life so he can take care of his grandparents and then die a normal person. That is terrible! God just destroyed his hard work, his family, and his friends then shoved him back to Earth to live normally. This expectation is what I expect from novels now where the main character's goal is to 'go home'. What will Arthas do? From the tags and from the story used as the background he will probably build his own kingdom between the time period of the Hobbit and LotR. Probably build alliances, meet various characters, maybe have a love interest or three. Then he'll grow strong or is strong already and fight the forces of evil, save his own people, leave his name in the annals of history as a good person. Or maybe the complete opposite and devastate the world as the Lich King and break history. Either path leads to... what? Him going home? With the first path he'll dump everything he developed and grew to love all just to go home to boring life on Earth? You expect readers to like this!? And if it's the second path then we're to accept he became a demon and accept he is rewarded for all the pain and destruction he caused so he can go home and laze around on the couch? Probably the most terrible way to start a story is have a main character with a fetish for life on Earth. Earth is terrible unless you're born in the top 0.00001%. Taxes, stress, marriage, divorce, old age, money, rebellious children if you even have them. From what is already said in the first two chapters, he only has a mother and brother at home. I don't see why he has to go back unless both are crippled in which case he should already have contingencies in place should he himself be hurt or missing or killed. That's just life. So yea, The rating is weird as **** since I want a 'satisfaction' aspect so I can give a one star there, but meh.

I just found this masterpiece and read it. All I can say is that this book is amazing but despite that, there are a few flaws. I had to write a review. One for example is the annoying parts in the first chapters, the main character seems to want to go back to earth, and it becomes quite annoying, thankfully, this stops around the chapter 4 and doesn't continue. I have read a lot of books (+700) and can confidently say this one makes the top 5 among the fanfics I have read. Especially the combination of Wow and Middle-earth was very interesting. Why? Writing; The quality is good, some parts have been written impeccably almost like a pro novel and some others are above average. Overall it is above most books on this site. (5 stars) Stability of Updates; Well, the updates are slow and chaotic but since I really like this story, I will give it 4 stars. Writing such a good story takes time and inspiration I guess. Story Development; my mind is blown especially in chapter 48. It is very good and solid, It feels extremely realistic to the point one might believe it to be real. It is filled with twists and interesting and new ideas. The kingdom building is short but I guess its good enough for fanfiction. It doesn't have much romance and things like that but it doesn't need it to be awesome. (5 stars) Character Design; It begins okay (the MC) but becomes increasingly better, The author seems to improve as the story progresses. The Characters seem realistic and I expected them to react the same way to the changes and Arthas. The Author has grasped the characters quite well. The main character becomes quite good as the story goes on. Enjoyed it but would have liked it more if there was a female lead. (5 stars) World Background; This story has elements of Hobbit, Lord of the rings, and Silmarillion in it. The background of the middle-earth is extremely rich and the same for Azeroth so it is very good. Also, the background of both these worlds logically influence the story and this makes it even better. (5 stars) Overall, I really liked it and would recommend reading. If the beginning is a bit annoying, bear with it till you are 11 or 12 chapters in and then judge for yourselves. It won't disappoint you. One of the best fanfics on this site. Overall Rating: 4.8 stars
