I have too many conflicted feelings about this book... I read it long ago and it will be a core memory of my life. But I still don't know if it's a good thing or a bad thing. I must say that the writing is one of the best I've ever seen. The character development, the relationships, the realism. It's such an amazing and unique book. I always have no idea of what's going to happen and it's so exciting to see the ups and downs it takes. And god the sex scenes are just too good as well. But I have a really big problem with this book. While I'm reading, I feel like my anxiety is always at 100%. The author writes in a way that makes everything you don't want to happen possible. In some books, you take the safety of everyone you don't want to die for granted because you think the author won't kill them, and the author doesn't kill them because it would make the story suck. And here, the author may not kill them but he makes you think they are going to die at every chance he gets. Then I get too involved in the history and I start getting anxious because as the history progress you really feel like someone is gonna die. In the end, I couldn't finish the book, it became too hard for me to read, and stopped at chap 383. The same thing happens in the other books, (Esper Harem in the Apocalypse and Unrivaled Demon's Odyssey) I tried to read them since they are really good as well but the anxiety builds up all the same and I gave up. I think spoilers would've helped me not be too anxious reading this. If I ever try to read this again I will get some spoilers first. Not saying you author should change anything, the history is yours and it's amazing but if someday you make a history where the girls can't die(be isolated, vanish, or disappear), it will probably be my favorite book ever.
