Review Detail of ChouxPastryHeart in Magical ties

My main gripe with the novel is that the love scenes are perfunctory and lacking. There's no passion, just action. Yes, they do it and they talk a big game about doing it and they don't seem to hate it, but its just okay. It doesn't read like there's a lot of love in it just from the lack of detail. The dialogue doesn't feel natural and is a lot of exposition. A lot of details could have been left to author narration instead of incorporated into the dialogue.
