Hi, author here. I just needed to post this so that everyone that has read this work of mine before can understand. So there are no misunderstandings, first off, I am the original author of this work. I posted this on Wattpad and Royalroad back in my high school days. So you might remember it. Due to some reasons, I needed to remove them. Now, this might seem like that original work of mine, but I added a lot of new scenes and things. So this is a remake of that original work of mine. So I hope you guys don't go around saying I stole this. Cause how can I steal from myself? Alright, that's all I wanted to say to clarify the situation.

Author, can you explain the plot of your interconnected series in a summary?

Basically, in the beginning, there was nothing and in that nothingness, the ORIGIN was created. The ORIGIN was the only being that had a sense of self, and with that sense, he felt lonely. So he created things that could keep him company, which were the Gods. The Gods were created to be a perfect existence that would do no wrong. But since they were perfect that was it that was there end. They couldn't grow, and they could never match the ORIGIN, so in the end, they weren't true companions. So from there, the ORIGIN created humans, beings that were full of imperfections, but their ability to grow was infinite. The Gods seeing that the humans might eventually surpass them, felt threatened, and started attacking the humans. When the ORIGIN intervened, the Gods in their fury attacked their master. Yet no matter what they did the ORIGIN was too powerful and they could never hope to win. But this fight came at a cost that even the ORIGIN couldn't foresee. Seeing as the ORIGIN had shared a part of himself to the God race, their fury and their jealousy had infected him, but not too much. The ORIGIN still loved humans, but he then also felt threatened by their growth. The ORIGIN who was infected by the God race's feelings had forgotten his original purpose in making the humans and decided to suppress them. Every time human civilization would reach a certain point he would reset it. The humans who used to be immortal turned mortal and would now enter the cycle of death and rebirth. Through this cycle, a human had broken free, this was the original incarnation of Edge, Ren, and the others. Well, it's pretty long, to explain more than this. Hope that helped or where you asking for something else?

I understand this is a prequel to demon lord but should I read demon lord first anyway? I just finished a beginning last night

You can go in any order since the way you understand the story will differ if you read it in a particular sequence. It's pretty fun knowing the future of a character and then reading about the events that transpired before. So most people read Demon Lord's reincarnation first before this.

I have always had this question... If someone is perfect and do no wrong........ They should be able to grow at an insane rate... Right? If we go off your logic... Humans would be able to accomplish even less than gods. And if gods are perfect they should in fact not feel threatened by humans. In fact if they are perfect they would already have mastered everything and be an existence equal to the origin.

Perfection is just a limit in which the end is at sight. Humans being illogical beings go beyond what they can gain and try hard to nearly get to perfection, but seeing as it is possible that they could get there, the Gods fear that if there was also the possibility to go beyond that limit called perfection. The ORIGIN is one of those beings that is beyond any concept of perfection or any sense at all, the Gods are beings that could not grow and their perfection was a limit that they could not surpass to reach the ORIGIN. The humans who had nothing to start with and seeing them slowly reach the heights of the Gods, could possibly surpass the limit of so called perfection.
