Not very good development for the characters or the world. The novel lost me when the MC revealed all his power to someone he "trusts" even though they are in a mutually beneficial partnership... he new the woman for like a week and reveals a life secret just like that. Ridiculous.

It was indeed supposedly a "Mutually Beneficial Trust" just like what you've said. HOWEVER, due to Leo's carelessness, Madam Silva became cautious with her deal with him incase he was someone not good for the Human race, which is something explained as against the purpose of existence of Sword and Magic, the organization she was loyal with. Anyways, thanks for the review, everyone has their own preference and I guess you don't want a story where a every character has their own way of thinking and purpose of existence, HAHAHAHAHAH!
