Review Detail of True_Sheol in I'm in Hollywood

The replacement version of this story is called "Hunting Hollywood" and starts in 1986 with the protagonist Simon Westeros. I actually prefer the original "I'm Hollywood" version of the story (what's posted here" with the protagonist Eric Williams. This is because while the original writer is apparently a movie geek and sometimes gets caught up in production techniques and box-office data in "I'm Hollywood," it's far worse in "Hunting Hollywood" where it feels like whole chapters are spent on it. This "geeking out" is detrimental to the story flow and I found myself practically skipping entire chapters. Worse, I didn't get a gradual feel of success as the protagonist is running his own company in 100 chapters. This not to say that the rewrite was entirely bad, the protagonist does make an effort to develop more convincingly, but that the writer didn't appear to have learned the lessons from "I'm Hollywood" and repeated many of the same mistakes in "Hunting Hollywood." New readers should expect lots of loose ends with characters appearing and disappearing, with little or no mention of them in later chapters. I would have preferred that the author continued this story instead of replacing it. Or if at least closing it properly instead of abruptly stopping at chapter 1198.
