*This contains no spoilers and was posted as of the completion of Volume One.* I say read it: I truthfully enjoy the writing. There are some genuinely beautiful and thought filled passages that I admire. The characters are quirky and with this review being only of only Volume 1 (currently only one published), the character cast is already developing their own individual arcs! I love the world building, and I’m excited to see what MC does within this world. The MC did some horrible things in his past life, and did his best in the modern life where he woke up to be a better person, to save lives rather than take or ruin them. Now that he’s been brought back to his first life, he is determined to help the people he wronged, as a form of atoning for all he did. He doesn’t expect forgiveness or pity. He wants to give back even while he acknowledges that he can’t escape the responsibility for the fact that he still did horrible things, no matter what he does to make up for such actions. It not being a pity party or characters *always easily forgiving him (some do, but even then it feels like there is valid, in-character reasons that allow them to put forward that forgiveness). That to me is important and rare to see in protagonists. They get to have β€œsins” and past actions erased, when in reality you always hold the actual responsibilty of what you did in your past, no matter what good you do to try and make amends in the future. That alone is worth reading in my eyes.

GlaringError here! As I have already mentioned in my author review I am restating it here since I am getting tons of comments about it, that I am more of a reader myself than a writer, I made this novel in an attempt to capture my fantasy world residing in my mind into words.. Writing is new for me.. The premise of my novel is inspired by many great works that I have loved over the years. And some elements I have in my novel that are slightly similar to them but it's just the skeleton of it, the real meat of the plot is entirely my own cooking. Some of the influence that is more noticeable is from The Runesmith (By Kuropon), The King's Avatar (By Butterfly Blue) and Shadow Slave (By Guiltythree). I have immense respect for these legends and I can only hope to follow in their footsteps. To all those who comment just by judging the name, at least give it a chance before letting your opinions be known. Thank you.
