I enjoy this actually. 40 ch in, something about it is refreshing, even if we have the usual tropes. 1. Reborn FL who treated ML like trash in her last life & now realizes how dumb she was 2. stepmom and stepsister are annoying 3. best friend is really a wolf in sheep's clothing 4. FL has old memories, is smart, op op HOWEVER 1. FL is strong, steady and has friendly interactions with people. She's quick to disprove rumors, so it's not like the world is against her. People who she used to bully are even starting to like her because she changed her ways. 2. ML is NOT an unfeeling ice cube who she has to try really hard to woo. He likes her, she likes him. They flirt over the pager and it's really cute. 3. They have a HEALTHY relationship. No forceful pulls or aphrodisiac or anything like that. Face to face confession. Wholesome hugs. They communicate and ML doesn't fall for tricks. 4. FL grandpa is totally on her side and doesn't fall for tricks either. I expect to see him help take down the white lotuses. 5. Just introduced, but her foster family seems like a good bunch. Even if she doesn't have doting parents, at least we get the feel good moments here.

If you want to loose your power stones feel free to read this novel. The first half of the novel was good, until you get to the second part. Translation got worse, characters nickname were change to something weird to the point of asking yourself if you were still reading the same novel. That's not even the most infuriating part. Many chapter would have different title but have the same exact content as previous chapters. It also feel like at least 2 previous chapter would be match together, it totally messed up the flow of the story. Many of the readers including myself left comments but it doesn't seem that the author, translator or editor are reading the comments, or maybe they are and they just don't care. It already happened 4 times, before I decided to drop this novel. Character design and story development are worth a little more star, but the feeling of being cheated don't sit well with me. My sincerest condolences to those who bought privileged chapters.

Recent chapters look like someone hacked the translator, or sabotaged them. Guys, premium is not cheap, I'm not paying for this garbage. Please fix it.

I wanna know who the translator is. So many scenes have been cut, and those aren't even smut scene!! I love this book, but I don't appreciate what the translator do to this story.

This novel is seriously awesome. To be honest at first I thought it was the same pattern of reincarnation story.so I lost interest. But I thought ok if after five chapter I feel boring I would left it. But then lu xiaochun entered into the story and I was like wow it's awesome. It's definitely a new pattern of story I never read. This story is really awesome. The writer of this story really captured my mind. Since webnovel haven't published all the chapters yet I searched in other sites and turned out they were translated but unfiltered. But I so into the story that I read it cause if I don't read it I start to zone out what happened after that. No matter how good the story is I always lose interest at some point. But this story after lu xiaochun's entry I never lost interest. Really author respect +99999. I highly recommend this novel. Just awesome. One of my favourite. 😘😘😘😘😘 (P.S. lu xiaochun is ye qiao and lu beixiao's son from previous life. If someone only started reading then they won't understand who he is)

This started out well, the story is fairly interesting and the translation quality not bad. However, after ch200 the quality started to deteriorate quite a bit. I am not opposed to time skips, especially if appropriate and done well, but more and more time skips were put in rather randomly and continuously jarringly. Quite a few chapters were edited quite poorly. Characters dialogue took strange turns, which may or may not be because of the translation deterioration? Some of the most recent chapters seem to have important plot deleted entirely (chapter 305), either that or chapters are missing. Which wouldn't be surprising since chapters 285, 288, 289, and 292 are repeats of earlier chapters, a fact which has been noted in those chapters' comments... and they still haven't been removed. So save your coins and as of 03-23-2021 don't buy those chapters. I'm just glad I binge read the last 100 or so chapters during a "read for free" day and didn't actually waste any coins/passes on them. If you don't mind using coins/passes on chapters containing the described flaws (or if you catch a free day) then the story can be considered not half bad...but it also can be considered barely half good (hence my score of 3.4 stars).

I really enjoy this novel and the relationships of the characters. However, I really hate that there are missing scenes. It makes absolutely no sense to me. What’s the purpose of cutting the affectionate or passionate scenes that were in the raws? And there isn’t even a proper tie-in. When the scene skips and goes straight to the next scene, the readers are very confused. Also, things are mentioned... like the first kiss or the “Red ruby” (hickey) on her neck that happened in skipped scenes and NO ONE knew what the heck that came from? It’s confusing and sucks the flow right out of the story.
