from what i've read so far, the ML is in his early to mid 20's

Not much is really mentioned about him yet. The ML is a nysterious character. He's helped the FL a couple times already. But.. i don't think we'll be reading a romantic plot in the next bit of chapters coz the FL is still 17.

This is a type of plot I would be dying to read mostly because of how the leads have strong characteristics and they actually use their brains and skills.
