Review Detail of Muthoni_Murira in Mr Quan, Let's Be Together From Now On

I am quite disappointed in this story. It started out well and I felt that it was very promising but nothing came of it. First, I absolutely hate that the narration keeps changing from third person to first person. The frequent monologues are annoying and confusing. I honestly feel that relying on the monologues to fill up the gaps between conversations is a very lazy and unimaginative way of telling a story. Second, there is sometimes an unexplainable disconnect between what the author states and what the reader can see. It makes one feel that the author is trying to force certain traits on a character. Instead of allowing the readers to see those traits by developing a character, the author chooses to force the reader to accept even when they can't see it. Third, I read 60 chapters and I still can't figure out anybody's personality. The strongest feeling I have about any of the characters is a bit of distaste for the ML. The story has a lot of incomprehensible and contradictory things that make enjoying the novel very hard. In the end, the most memorable thing about reading it is recalling how impatient I was to get to chapter 60 so that I can move on to something else.
