Quiet disappointed with this book. Probably because I read hidden marriage and sweet bad wife and have high expectations towards her other book. It's not full of angst, it's just full of complicated dog fights.
Jiong Jiong Yao Yao
Liked it!
LIKEprobably she's trying to shift her style to another. The vibe is similiar to YFY but it's different.
PrimSuspectOMelons:true. I wonder if she hit a plateau when she wrote this? it's not like her usual style, well the bizarre is present, but damn, the drama got me puking
wait to be disappointed even more. I feel like one of those bashers or goblins who bad mouth other people, but damn, if you're like me and you don't like drama (even if they have trust, which makes the drama more intense and painful) just don't continue, I walked that path. the ending's good and all, but damn the drama in between is like, Jiong Jiong, what the fudge freaking happened???

TheCabbageLu:i've read it until the end. the final conclusion is just so so
ahhhh, writing, it's such a gamble. one day you could be writing a best seller, the next you would be wondering into a new style that could either kill your work or bring out the flames of nirvana. well, her other ongoing novel is still keeping my attention, so hopefully since it's ongoing (it maintains the hope I have for her craft, or else I'm gonna cry. first madam ru, then Yao Yao, please, don't take any more good writers reality!!!)

madam ru and you yao are so far the best. I have ever tried reading some novels like yfy and some others only to find myself disappointed in the end

have you tried Villain Boss (Ming Shu) and Empress' Livestream (Jiang Pengji)? so far, they're my salvation here ever since Ling Lan's story has stopped. if ever you want to try these, ming shu's story starts to kick of at arc 4 (I liked it since arc 1 but the magic, for me, started there) jiang pengji's story, as long as you have fascination with history, governance, and war tactics (which you seem to since you like Ling Lan) you'll also like this

correction, arc 3 for Ming Shu, that arc... some lines there made me see a probable change in the usual OP female mindset
TheCabbageLu:ok. i'll read it
add in doomsday wonderland (but webnovel dropped this. it was said that it wasn't getting enough (ss/coins) I guess. but it's really good. the characters have grown on me (no romantic stuff, well at least in most arcs, but I can't say forever, I feel like the author has a knack for it so I could be wrong, stop yourself prime! stop it! no spoilers !)
