The original author posted the story on Fanfiction.net. They asked the person who posted it on this website to remove their novel. They then refused to remove it, that's why there are so many negative reviews.

Bad reviews were given before the original author said anything and it was stated from the start who the real author was and where to find the story. I don't really like the other site so I was glad it was posted here. ALSO, the low ratings make the story look like it was bad anyway from the start. Sad really because the story is really good.

Plagiarism is the practice of taking someone else's work or ideas and passing them off as one's own. This didn't happen. It was stated in the synapse and the comments who this work belonged to. He didn't do anything wrong. Anyway Harry Potter is the property of J.K. Rowling if anyone should be upset it should be her. These are characters and ideas that she made up. By your definition, there should be no fan fiction with the Harry Potter name.

I don't wish to nit pick the fine details with anyone. But, there are many stories on webnovel that post stories from other sites that belong to other authors. These stories just state that the story isn't theirs. They don't state who the author is not where it came from. These people aren't being called thieves because there are people like me who like this site better and we appreciate the story.
