It doesn’t matter how much you love this book, you can’t simply post another persons intellectual property on another site without their explicit permission. Either get the authors permission or don’t put it up at all, because you will claiming the benefits of their work.

LIKENope it’s still the same, you may have linked it and said it want yours, but if you were to turn in an assignment then link it to Wikipedia and say it was there’s isn’t it still plagiarism? It’s no different, those stories are there for you to read, but not to use how you want. Always get permission first before using someone else’s stories, there have been a few people who have done what you have done. Usually they ask them to take the story down, I have even seen an author threaten to stop writing if people kept taking their work.
I know, but still the same reason still stands and if I even go the way you are going. I would have just said it’s not my work, but I have the authors name and anyone and said which site it’s posted on. So argument is pretty much nullified.Though I understand what you are saying. I hate plagiarism as well but you really can’t tell me it’s plagiarism when that is the practice of taking someone else's work or ideas and passing them off as one's own. if I said it’s not mine and told everyone the source, it’s not plagiarism. I also dedicated a chapter to telling everyone that this not my book
I also found this book because of this guy, but that changes nothing. If I am being a big ass for trying to stop people from using another persons intellectual property, so be it. I am only trying to do what is right.
