I’m going to give you the honest truth, if u r not comfortable with ml raping the fl the first time do not read this. I hate the ml. And I hate that readers enjoy this kind of ml’s. The fl was drugged yes but she was able to control herself to attempt an escape it was then the ml that forced himself on her and raped her. The ml is an asshat. Do not accept this kind of behaviour and hype the book up! Imagine if he was an old ugly, fat, homeless, poor man with greasy hands... would u keep hyping up the ml? No u would not. All because he’s hot, young, rich and powerful does not mean he can go around raping girls! Pls there is enough rape going around in the world! We do not need u people making it seem romantic! Think about the underage girls on this app that read stories like this that can change their views on what is proper, and what love truly is. Do not support this kind of books, I repeat do not support this kind of books! And the fl, I thought I was gonna love her, but she seems plain, nothing special except her wonderful looks and annoying personality. At least it wasn’t an evil step sis, BFF or cousin that drugged her. It was the adopted son of her uncle. Tbh she’s very stupid! She knew what her ‘brother’ was tryna do and she still drank the wine... she jumped into the pit herself. And also I believe this story is a project of the author’s fantasies to be raped by a hot billionaire. Does every woman want to be raped nowadays? What happened to women wanting only gentlemen and wanting to be treated like a queen? The fact that this isn’t the first book I’ve read like this is annoying tf outta me. I read one where the ml got dumped by the fl so he kidnapped her and raped her for 1 month. Guess what? The author let the fl end up with him... stop supporting rapists will ya? They r trash that deserve the worst punishment!

I agree with you ,when I first read full marks hidden marriage I liked the story so much and didn't think much about the female lead being raped, but now when I think about that I find it disgusting, even though the male lead is drugged he should take responsibility for his actions ,but no he didn't ,and we stupidly encourage these type of stories just because the main lead is handsome and rich. I think people should stop liking novels with weak,pitiful,dumb female leads so that the authors will not create them.
Yes.. me too... full marks hidden marriage was one of the first I read when I got into reading online novels and I hyped it up so badly, it got position as my fav and not too long ago I wondered what my fav novel was and that was the first that popped into my mind and I decided to reread it... it was then I realised how trash it actually was... Ning xi was supposedly strong but the ml basically did everything for her, the ml was supposedly good but he didn’t even try to investigate the girl he had segs with and potentially ruined her life. Little bun was too op and his childhood female friend wasn’t that bad of a person...

That’s y I stopped reading ceo novels and started read qt novels, because the ml’s in those ones better treat the fl well or she’s dumping their ass (altho there r still some bad ml’s in those ones, they aren’t that common, at least in the ones I read)

Thank you for your honest review. I thought it was just me that find these rapy stories offensive. I blame webnovel for allowing such trashy novels on its platform. Rape and violence are not romantic in any language. And there are young impressionable kids that learn from such🤦♀️ I keep commenting that it is ok to fall out of love. In real life, people don’t fall for their rapists. No matter how handsome and rich the rapists are, the victims are never whole. They get nightmares, depression and some commit suicide because of it.
tbh, I still like that one. Cz it was nt just the fl who was the victim. Both ml and fl were victims. the ones at fault were Ml's little brother and the adopted daughter of Ning fam and Fl's ex. I like the novel bcz of how there is no misunderstandings b/w the ml and fl and bcz of the trust they have for each other. bt ys, the ml was a bit too manipulative at first. bt his action of waiting for her to wake up was heartwarming. But ys, there are too many stories in which the fl gets raped and then the ml treats her like trash and still they end up together!! It's truly maddening!! Consent matters!!
