Review Detail of Supremely_Innocent in Kiss Me Goodnight, Mrs. CEO!

Is it cliche? I do not know. This question is mostly up to how you interpret the plot of the story. However, I do think that this novel does really well at questioning both sides of the story. Who is on the moral side of the story? The female lead or her enemies? For example, enraged at how Qin Yun had forced her mother to kneel with a sign in front of the Jiang Company, she pulled the lady out of the car with the intention to commit homicide. However, in her weakness, Qin Yun was saved by the Jiang father and daughter while she was sent tumbling towards an arriving sedan. In order to save her daughter, mother of FL runs and pushes her daughter out of the way. Soon after, she dies in the hospital. Now, the question is: Who truly caused the death of her mother? Was it FL? Or was it the Jiang family? In essence, both are partly at fault. However, one side has pride and ego that they can never forego, while one side is trying to remove the trauma from herself. None can admit to the mistakes they have made or that they are being too self-upright. To be honest, this is not my favorite type of novel to read, but I was bored and needed to do the daily 15 minutes, so I chose this novel upon seeing the super sweet synopsis. Though, I should have expected the tragedy when I could feel the dominating tone of the ML from the synopsis. Sure, FL and ML get a happy ending and lots of slapping scenes will happen. FL will eventually become happier and move on from her painful past with the help of ML, however, we all know that it will not happen until they begin to gather trust with each other since their relationship is purely based on physical emotions. Their emotional attachment to each other is almost nonexistent, so I can predict that there will definitely be an arc where the author will test their love for each other. In all, this is a good novel if this is the type of stuff you like. However, since this is not my cup of tea, I will be dropping this novel. If one day I find out that this novel is completely updated though, I might return since I like reading completed works. (I have a habit of liking the novels more when I read the ending before the start. Do not judge.)
