I have not read the novel. Just sharing one of my views about novels on webnovel (I do have experience of reading on webnovel for some years now). For me, it's now nearly an 'almost' established fact (at least for me) that the more chapters in a novel the worse (or at least boring) it will going to end up.

Not really. Of course, the majority of CN novels get boring from time to time, but that’s only if the plot gets saturated. LOTM, LOHP and KA all disprove this claim.

I do agree with you on that about not all novels getting bad the more the chapter. I meant most of the novels right now present in webnovel.
