I do see where you want to go and where you are coming from. Your writing style is very distinct in a way that creates a definitive connection between the narrator and your main character. As in: you use only your main character's thoughts to describe what is going on around him/her. Which is perfectly fine. Although I would suggest describing what your main character sees/smells/hears/tastes as well. That helps shaping an image for your reader to immerse themselves into. However, this is a more than decent start! Keep up the good work!

Uhmmm… What do you mean exactly? Do you mean my writing, like if I like writing in first person more...?
No. I am talking about my writing which you have read already. I wrote both in first person and third person in five chapters itself. There is a difference in the writing quality and I wish to know which style is easier for the readers.
Hmm... Honestly, it is a personal preference. Readers have a personal preference for either first or third person. However, you should write whatever feels natural to you. For example, I started writing in third-person but shifted over to first-person over the course of 3 years. Some story genres are more fit for some POV's. Like first-person for mysteries and third-person for slice-of life or stories with lots of characters. But it all comes down to personal preference.
I see. Thank you for telling me this. I had asked because I always felt a sense of strangeness while writing in first person. Most of the time I would put in my own feelings instead of the characters so I just wanted to confirm something.
It's all about your personal relation with the main character. Your story was about a wolf-cub, if I remembered correctly. IF you want to shift to third-person, do not forget that's a whole other style, allowing you to look into other characters' heads.
