Good novel. Characters can be a little gimmicky at times, but overall very entertaining. While the MC is tricking everyone outwardly, his personality as written in the story is very honest. He isn't trying to fool himself or the readers into thinking he is a good person, which I appreciate. His reactions to situations are consistent, and my one compliant is how dumb the author made one of the female characters. I know she is an npc, but could it hurt to make her a little bit smarter?

I'm having a hard time following what you are talking about. If you are referring to the gimmicky part of what I said, then I was aware that not all of the characters are like that, but a fair chuck are. I've seen quite a few over used tropes in the story already. It isn't a turn off or anything, but the character types aren't exactly original.

Oh, my point was that she isn't unrealistically stupid. Think Covington kids, news stories about Trump saying the corona virus is a hoax, etcetera. The fatso comment was just from a news story that ticked me off pretty badly and wasn't too relevant. They aren't unoriginal either so I'm of the opinion that they need some characterization and it'll be magnificient.

Ahhh. Okay that makes more sense. Yeah Trump is in general a stupid piece of garbage lol And my complaint about the girl being stupid wasn't about realism, it was more about the MCs sexist comments about her. Particularly about how she doesn't have brains because all of her development went to her large breasts. If she was dumb and she just happened to have big breasts, I wouldn't have liked it still (mostly because I'm just flat out tired of that trope) but I would be more okay with it.
