I don't think the problem is whether or not you can change the plot for the better in the future, the problem is that we can't get into your head, author. for example, there was once a boy who ate a fruit of the primordial good, he was super awesome, but another boy ate the fruit of the primordial evil, no matter what I write later, I know that the MC, is any boy, no it will be unique, even if you make one of them die in the future, how do we know that you will not add a boy who ate the fruit of the primordial emptiness? anyway ... we don't know what kind of story you are going to make, the mc for us is a living being and each obstacle cannot be spent writing, we don't have that power, so if the mc falls into a 10,000-meter hole tall, he will die, but you just need to say "a black hole opened and sucked him", you need not worry because you are "God" for the story, but we, mortal mortals, do not have that privilege.

My tip as a fellow author is to always listen to your readers. You may personally like the story but getting a little input from your readers goes a long way

Yep, author just made the whole plot of naruto the same but with a twist, Both ssasuke and naruto are op, then they fight and they fight again and again, then gonna befriend each other. so yeah came for something new but got the same piece of junk of idiocy the uchiha's love.
