I gave it a try because the reviews were like a cult following, so how could i not? The MC is dumb doing a dumb thing, simple as that. I was curious how the cultivation world would look like if you were a fisherman but he is the BEST. You take lightly of the statement when reading it since you probably had a hunch it’d end up the way it did but you had a hope that not everyone would be a fisherman. Anyways right out the gate everyone are children who compete like cultivators through fishing. There is so much in the story you have to just assume or not everything will be okay. Check it out, a lot of people like it for some reason so it must be me who didn’t understand its charm.

You're not alone. I was curious so I read a little and I'm glad I didn't invest too much in this. In comparison Way of the Devil is much more entertaining with quality that's stable.

To be honest you can very well see this novel as fishing in itself. Those who have patience to fish alone probably like this and those who dont probably only fish to socialize at best or the idea of fishing. 1000 chapters till it gets good, hell no, spare this *******.

will it is a cultivation world but in a water world so the mountains are the seas the beasts are the fishes. you can't really paint the world with the book cover the webnovel used but the one in novel updates is super cool.

What happened 30 years ago, what happened in the distant past and how that affects the present and directs the future. The humor is well done, especially mc and his antics ... One of the best FML in a chinese novel so far, she is lively cute independent and dangerous. she may prolly be the only female lead who likes to attack mc for no reason at all ... (mc is a body refiner and his defence is op, the fml likes to puncture mc with her dagger) But can only pierce like an inch due to his op defence , she never gives up even after they become couple ... when mc asks why - she says because she likes how the dagger stabs the flesh. Both the MC and FML like fighting and robbing. The author has taken some inspirations from DD1, OP, etc > Use coins to unlock at least 1 chapter to be counted as 'Fans' so they'd be pick this up quicker.

Really good read! Give it a try, it's about cultivating in a very interesting world where fishermen ( the whole society) are cultivators. The world building is fascinating and the characters are well developed. Hope it will get picked fast.

Mediocre. The concept was interesting. But the execution was very bad. MC is pathetic and un-likable. The characters are not developed at all. World-building is sub-par at best. The main flaw is the MC. He does not have any intelligence at all. And only survived till now due to plot armor. His behaviour is like a child who found a new toy.

The author tries to make the system look impresive in a very artificial way by means of fake limits and obstacles. There's a limit placed in the spirit points(?) and it's ignored in the same chapter it is introduced. The points are a currency that can be stolen without any effort and completely unnoticed, at least until much later, probably.

ok so... 1.Translation Quality, not the greatest but not bad a lot of mixed up names and also wrong words used in some sentences etc but still better than MTL 2. Stability of updates, of updates so far are ok but also not that great and i say that because we get 2 chapters a day which is good but those chapters are 12 hrs apart which might as well feel like 1 chapter a day. 3. Story Development, so far story's pacing is pretty good that's all. 4. Character Design, the characters in the story so far are good and not as annoying as other stories. 5. world background, as of chapter 80 not much is known of the world we know of very few locations and those are only briefly mentioned. 6. as for why i gave this novel a 1 star is to more effect the overall value that it currently has, we got people just throwing out 5 stars without actualling judging the novel etc so i think people need to throw out 1 stars to counter said people that think everything is gold
