The tone of this chapter this time leaves me quite a weight of sadness and the sudden burst of MC's development surely is a wise idea during her deepest sorrow or emotional fluctuation. I liked how the author taking a different kind of approach in developing characters on each of the Author's works. And POFL is taking another whole level of development through the eye of MC's emotional fluctuation and hardship.

The story ends with the female lead around 12 years old. Conversations happen around her involving relationships and the concepts just fly over her head because she isn't ready or mature enough to think about it. If the novel would follow her until mid or late teenager years, you can see it happening with somebody in her group. However, the author does not take us there.

Sorry for the late reply. The author leaves a purposely vague message so nobody knows for sure. There are hints that there could be personal life drama but nothing is specified.

Looking at this version of the novel, the author didn't seem to post the rest of it. after all, half of the story involved her fight against the main assassin's guild; her reunion with her father; the fall of Chen Kingdom; her sworn sister's oath being given to prince Chen, making her his plaything; the near destruction of the Su family; her reading about the white path she saw leading to a major (world emperor?) inheritance and fighting her way back to the island through special means to get it; meeting her mom's family, learning the truth about what happened, telling them about the grave and it needing to be recovered; Prince Chen going insane; the hidden power (think something like a demonic path or blood cult type group) hiding in the shadows of Chen Kingdom that were once believed destroyed; and finally her rise to the very peak... think the author said they either took the original version down because of all the pirated copies, they were trying to rewrite it, or we novel crashed and lost it. Maybe if I go back to the first few chapters, I can find what they said again...hmm. anyway, this version of the book? ...it isn't even half of what the author had up here before, which is a shame. It's still a great book though, even if it isn't all of it. 🙂👍

True. and if one thinks it was her senior brother in the academy, he was only around until he graduated in the original version the author had published on here. she met him again later, but that's at his home, where she actually found out who he really is - much later in the story. This copy doesn't have those chapters, though. Maybe someone can bribe the author to put it all back up? But this copy doesn't have all the rest right now. 😔

explained this in original post if you read it. they took it down or Webnovel accidentally deleted it. ...for reasons previously explained. author said they'd put it back up IF they ever felt like it. so far, this has yet to happen. note: most of the novels being posted to Webnovel are all reposts of completed works that were on Webnovel and finished before. Webnovel f-cked up and deleted most of them; Webnovel acquired the rights to them; or the authors decided to take them down for one reason or another previously - usually due to either it being posted illegally elsewhere or that particular "author" having stolen the work themselves (very common). in any case, what I posted was from the ORIGINAL copy THIS AUTHOR posted here on Webnovel years ago. want to know more? please ask the author. thx. 😉
